The smg and the assault rifle take the same ammount of time to kill someone. The game has 6 (primary) guns: the shotgun, SMG, assault rifle, sniper, and carbine. The game has a ton of fan made maps, and the game comes with like 45. There are always 40~ people playing the muliplayer, so playing with others is no issue. The game has cubes all over the place, however there are shaped models too. The game does however have a scope, that you can change the zoom level on with the mouse wheel, just like cs. The game has no ADS mode, like the counterstrike series, also you can edit levels and make new ones ingame (litterally mid game on single player).

The game has some odd customisation, like you can make your full auto guns semi auto, and customizable burst, from 2 bullets to a full clip. The graphics are ok for a game this old, I run at 60 fps, the games maximum on my 10 year old computer, on medium graphics, I get around 19 fps on highest.
The game can be violent, with a gib kill(knife, headshot from sniper or shotgun, or grenade) gore slider, that goes from none, to unrealistic, however the game has a low violence mode. So it makes it something you can play for 3 minutes and quit. It doesn't have any kind of progression, no leveling up, or getting money. Assault cube, Its a simple, casual, first person shooter.
